OKIE-VEGAS storms the Riverwind

I had the distinct pleasure and honor of meeting several bloggers for the first time last night for a freindley little game of 1/2 NL at Riverwind Casino in Norman OK. This distinguished tabled included the following:

tripjax in the 1 seat
Several different poor souls in the 2 seat
yours truly in the 3 seat
Gary Carson in the 4 seat
Im23skidoo in the 5 seat
GCox25 in the 6 seat
Maudie in the 7 seat
surflexus in the 8 seat
katitude in the 9 seat

So here is the breakdown of the game by the numbers

1 - was what table we were playing at

2 - the number of times sets lost at the show down, once the dreaded set over set, second time the dreaded gutshot suckout

3 - the number of people that I doulbled up at one point or another

4 - thenumber of poor souls that sat down with us then left a lot lighter in the Bank Roll

5 - the number of times the hammer dragged the pot

6 - the number of stacks TripJax had after played his KK on the button to perfection against my 1010 in the BB on 786 flop

7 - the number of times I heard SO CO referenced to

8 - the number of dealers that we had

9 - the number of times the word Donkey was used

1000 - the laughs heard and memories created

Have a great weekend and I leave you with this, the next time you sit down at the felt I hope, no I wish that you find this guy sitting there as well.

This picture is real - not doctored in any way and was taken by a Transportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials for 84 Lumber. While the plywood and 2X4's are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the back seat, which contains - are you ready for this? 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each. They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the rear shocks were driven through the floorboard.

It was great meeting and slinging chips with you, we will definitely have to do it again soon.

I appreciate you playing poker with us, but moreso, I was damn glad to meet you.
